The fantastic and highly acclaimed author of the The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons and the recent hit movie Inferno – Mr Dan Brown – used to be a pop singer!
Before he became famous for his novels and the creation of the fascinating Robert Langdon, Dan Brown moved to Hollywood and went to the National Academy of Songwriters to pursue his singing career. He released a number of albums but of particular interest was the 1994 release called “Angels and Demons”. The artwork he used for the album cover was produced by artist John Langdon.
Separate to the Langdon novels, his first book Digital Fortress, which was published in 1998 started his writing career and there is also the later bestseller, The Lost Symbol. I have to say that I have read them all and would hugely recommend them, even if you have seen the films!
