A little bit of humour for a quiet Wednesday in cold mid-January, following what they are reporting as being Blue Monday, the most depressing Monday of the year.

T.S. Eliot was an American-English poet and playwright, writing some of the world’s most famous literature.  However, during Eliot’s time working as an editor for Faber & Faber, a publishing house, he used to enjoy playing pranks on authors that would visit the offices.  He would seat them on chairs which had whoopee cushions on and offer them exploding cigars!  He was also one of the first people to write the word “bullshit” in a poem title – the poem was surprisingly never published.
